Payment Policy
M & A providers participate in most of the major health insurance plans in order to provide the best mental health services for our clients.
If your plan is not listed, we will be unable to file a claim on your behalf. However, we can provide you with a form that you can submit to your insurance company (see insurance links below) and instruct them to send reimbursements directly to you.
Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and co-payments for which you are responsible for at the time of service.
Common Questions
How much does a session cost?
Each session is $200.00 unless other arrangements are made

How long is a session?
The duration of a typical session is 55 minutes. However, some insurance will only authorize a session of 45 minutes long

Would my insurance cover me?
If you provide us with the information required before the first appointment, we will do our best to notify you of any deductibles or co-pays. If you agreed to services, as a courtesy, we will bill your insurance company, the responsible party, or third-party payer for you. If your insurance company denies payment or does not cover the services provided, you are still responsible for the financial obligation for the services rendered.

What billing or insurance information will I receive?
You will receive a copy of your bill. After your insurance has been paid, we'll provide you with a statement of your account at your request.

How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?
Generally, it takes from 45 to 60 days to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.

I received a notice from my insurance that they only covered part of my services. Can you help me understand why my insurance only covers part of the bill?
If we have received any such information from your insurance company, we'll be glad to share it with you. However, for answers to any questions about insurance payments, deductibles, or co-payments, you generally need to check with your insurance company.

Do I have to pay for no-show appointments?
Every appointment is considered a "set appointment" whether it is made by phone, e-mail, in writing, or in person. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment you must give 24 hours notice, otherwise, a charge of $60.00 will be charged to your account (excludes EAP appointments)

What is EAP?
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP's) are employee benefits programs offered by many employers. EAPs are intended to help employees deal with personal problems that might adversely impact work performance, health, and well-being. EAP's generally includes short-term counseling and referral services for employees and their household members.

How do I know if I have EAP benefits?
Contact your employer's Human Resources Department and inquire about it.
